A couple of things about this account :

- If it wasn't obvious by the pictures on my account, I by no means claim to be a professional photographer! I'm an amateur who had the good fortune of being able to purchase a semi-decent camera about a year ago. I love snapping shots and running them through photoshop in order to receive the best possible result. People are my favorite subject of choice ; I like making portraits most.

- Often you will find that photographs posted here resemble those posted at ~L-art-en-rose, my stepmother's photograph account. This is because we are both present at quite a lot of photoshoots with the same models [Marilyn, Jill,...] and therefore take similar shots. I can assure you that we're not using each other's work! There's always a difference, however slight, in the photographs we upload to deviantART.

Ah, I see you could also set up poses with the delicate shape of a Victorian woman's hands too. They taper to smaller at the tips, and have just a certain ability to rest in special poses.

I would like to see pictures of Marilyn was a little girl. Could she stand it? I don't know if you would want to. You are a little girl, in all the wonderful and painful stages, for such a short time.

Then all the rest of years are for begin grown-up. I saw a funny cartoon on a birthday card once. It showed two water fountains side by side.

Children are lined up to one, and adults of all ages are lined up at the other. The adults of course want the one with the sign that reads, "Fountain of Youth"...

See it coming? Kids want the one that says "Fountain of Age" (something like that)

It shows dialogue bubbles above the heads of different individuals with the wishes they have for going forward or backward.

Irony, one side has what the other side wants, or what they think they could have, if they were in the other line.

Art is amazing. Photographs that capture a moment to last beyond the lives of those who take it. A language that brings all peoples together with understanding that is in every heart, though one's culture and personal experience will make the perception absolutely personal to every individual.

Even the simplest cartoon can say profound things that are too much of a paradox to put into words. Art of all kinds has a voice that is like a dog whistle. Perhaps not such a eloquent analogy. But only dogs here that frequency and react, quite intensely sometimes.

The art "whistle" is heard by our subconscious souls. Often our inner wisdom, our inner knowing of ourselves is trying so hard to speak. Seems universal also that it can be so hard to hear or listen to that voice.

I know it has taken me so long to trust my own perceptions. To not ignore when something is pulling me in, and looks for some reason good, but my "gut" is crying DON'T.

I've learned some lessons so painfully. That seems to be a universal necessity. I hope I can learn more by listening more carefully in the future. I simply can't live long enough, or survive (!)...learning it all "the hard way".

One thing, that pain is universal, and most everyone responds to it when they see it in art.

It is so wonderful, though, when art can be simply about beauty. I find beauty of any kind, like color itself, is one of the satisfying answers I have found for the question of evil, and whether God is for us or against us.

Color and beauty reassure me, when I need something extra even beyond my faith, that God is good.

The whole earth is full of his glory,,,in other words shouts that He is good and wants us to have abundance in our lives.

Abundance is never about circumstances of the moment. It goes so much deeper, and cannot be touched by circumstances.

Like joy compared to happiness. The differences between those two are subtle, and profound when understood.

I will be a repeat visitor.

Graag gedaan! :D
